Just your typical country bridge cache on a guardrail!
This cache was hidden to celebrate some of the things we like about geocaching!
First it will take you on a nice scenic country road.
Second - it celebrates going green (more on that later) and
Third - it celebrates a couple of geocachers that we have had the honor of meeting during some of our geocaching adventures - MadDash4Cache.
MadDash4Cache started goecaching on November 10, 2008 and as of September 2, 2013 they have found 3435 caches and have hidden 34 caches themselves.
Many of their hides are similar to this one - quiet country road on a bridge!
In fact, this very container was rescued from one of their hides not too far away. Here is the log for that one: http://coord.info/GLC2YMQD
They said that we could go ahead and hide this rescued container for them to find. So - here it is - a recylced container (going green) hidden on a country road in the middle of Ohio's farmland. Maybe, if your lucky you just might run into MadDash4Cache while out on the trail or at a local geo-event.
So - Hail to the country bridge hiders - MadDash4Cache! Update 10-5-22 - Sadly both members if MadDash4Cache have passed away. If it had not been for geocaching, we would not have had the honor to have met this family. May both John and Phyliss, as well as their daughter CacheWhisperer, Rest in Peace.
