Have you ever wondered where Santa spends his free time? It just may be out on High Falls Flowage. Be on the look out for the fat little man....rumor has it his pal Frosty may be visiting soon. Who knew this was such a paradise for our wintery pals??
Santa wanted to create a special cache for all the good little geocachers. If you find it....he will put you on the nice list. If not....straight to the DNF list for you!
Look all around, Santa has had some practice wrapping things. Both containers are small, but visible.
This is also a popular spot for muggles on the weekends....but don't worry....most of them know what you are up to. Hard to ignore a man in a red velour suit on a 90 degree day tromping through the woods hiding things. Hey, he only has to be stealthy one day a year.
The best approach is the sandy beach. Trust Santa on this one. You should be able to find easy trails into the woods from here. There is a great area to picnic too. And swim. Enjoy your visit to Santa's Island. Make sure you tell him what you want for Christmas!
