A is taking an entomology class/lab this semester at the local University. For said class she has to collect a menagerie of bugs (ick) and because of Geocaching we know all kinds of fun places to look.
After a bug chasing session we happened across a road that we hadn’t traveled down before, and in the process, found the perfect place for a cache that we had been toting around in my car for a few weeks. After a little gawking at the scenery we hatched our plan and made the hide.
Since this cache is on a windy hill top in the beautiful Flint Hills, be prepared for wind. Did I mention it will probably be windy?!?! I would suggest not doing this one at night or by yourself, but you probably won’t listen to me so just be careful. Also, you will not have to cross the fence line to get to it…unless you drop it…then you’ll have to go retrieve it.
So what will you be looking for? Keep your eyes peeled for a green bison tube, but because I’m not totally mean, it is attached to a ball of faux foliage.
Congrats to molar one on the FTF!
