The original cache was washed away in a flood; this has since been replaced and relocated some 70 feet or so from its original location.
Don't look at the images attached unless you want to see a spoiler of what the cache container looks like.

OLAF the Red Monster is not good at scaring anyone, he just likes to party and eat vegan cupcakes all the time!! He is friends with the Blue Monster and the Green Monster and they like to party together whenever they can.
Red Monster is also friends with the Ottine Swamp Monster, whom you may encounter on the Ottine Swamp Trail nearby. You can also take the Palmetto Interpretive Trail, which is a shorter walk. Watch out for SNAKES!!
ALSO...there may be ANTS!!! GIANT RED ANTS!!! That bite!!!!
Red Monster lives off the MESQUITE FLATS TRAIL. He is afraid of muggles though, so please re-hide Red Monster well after enjoying your visit with him.
So anyway, one day CUPCAKE DELIVERY GUY was late and Red Monster got so hungry he banged his head on a tree...to find out what happened next read the hint!!!!!!!!!!!
The monsters only party in the middle of the night under a full moon, but Red Monster is always happy to have visitors during the day.
While still only in kindergarten, Red Monster was almost drafted into the Monster Army where they NEVER serve cupcakes....but Red Monster escaped and now lives in hiding in Palmetto State Park.

KIDS!!! Post your drawings of Red Monster eating cupcakes at the monster party!!! Don't forget to include his buddy the Ottine Swamp Monster!!

NEW FEATURE!! Post or e-mail me your picture of you with each of the three monsters (you have to go to all three monster geocaches to do this...don't need to include your face, just prove you found the monster). Here is a list...in order...of the geocachers who have accomplished this great feat!! When you post your third and final picture, you must also put a message informing me that it is your third one and list the dates of your first two finds. Any monster cache finds prior to June 1, 2014 get grandfathered in for those finds (you don't have to go find them again nor post pictures for those geocaches, but it would be cool if you did)! Also, if the monster is muggled please report it and instead post a picture of you holding the cache container. Good luck on this Monster Challenge!!
