Marton West Beck plays a vital role in the environmental health of Middlesbrough as it provides an important wildlife corridor from the surrounding greenbelt right into the heart of town.
This series of caches follows part of the beck and allows you to experience both the urban and rural aspects of the valley.
All of the caches are disguised / camouflaged and you will need to bring your own pen. The tree cover may affect the accuracy of your GPS so extra clues are given in the hint should you need them. Some of the paths and steps can be slippery so footwear with a good grip is also recommended.
There are several other caches in the valley that can be linked in with these should you wish to extend your wander. Dogs under control are also welcome.
