This stretch of the walk by Chris-King will take you for a stroll around a section of one of Kent's most picturesque villages.

References to Pluckley can be found in the Domesday Book, back then it was a more significant settlement than it is now. Sir Edward Dering, 1st Baronet is also buried here.
Pluckley's most recent claim to fame has most recently been through the successful television series The Darling Buds of May, the first series being screened in 1991, and it is this, rather than the reputation as, according to The Guinness Book of Records, the most haunted village in England that is cherished by most of the residents.
It is a lovely walk with some great views, but some of the paths can get muddy so good boots are recommended. There are also some great places to stop for refreshments, so you can plan your walk accordingly.

From 'Little Chambers', continue up the field into the lane, turn left onto the lane (marked as WP02) then turn right off the lane onto another footpath (marked as WP03).
