In an effort to showcase a series of caches by two of my good friends [One90Proof & Scottw123] I would cordially like to invite all available and interested cachers to this event. The Muddy Creek series is a collection of 14 caches located along a 2.3 mile long circuit through a very picturesque nature trail located in Southern Mobile County. The trail is also reputed to be an excellent source of spider silk if you happen to collect it. In addition to natural wetlands and all of the beauty it offers you will be able to find a large collection of equally large spiders.
Scott has graciously offered to donate hotdogs and hamburgers for this event. Craig will donate his presence and even an autograph or two for the lucky cacher. I'll bring one of my small grills, paper products, buns and ice for drinks. All we ask is that you bring a side dish that you think everyone would enjoy. As time passes I will develop a list of items being brought and make an announcement to this page so that it will be easy to keep track of who is bringing what.
The above listed coordinates will bring you to the main parking lot. Plan to arrive between 1130-1200 for a wonderful time. We will enjoy some food and fellowship and then take a walk and look for some caches to walk our meal off.
