Geocache Description:

A quick cache and dash located in Pinchbeck.

Welcome to Pinchbeck

You are looking for a tradition micro cache located in Rotten Row adjacent to the public playing field.

The cache name will give you a clue as to what you are looking for. This is my first cache and so I hope everything is in order and that you enjoy it. When placed it contained a FTF certificate, Log, Pencil and one or two small swaps. There is parking available at GZ and the adjacent park is open all year round with a reasonable amount of equipment for kids to play on. There is even a full size football pitch and a basketball hoop for those older children.

The location name conjures up a certain image in most peoples minds but I am happy to say that in reality it is a bit more more up market. Although not confirmed, some locals say the name was derived from the fact that many years ago, people living in that area would regularly turn out with all their rotten fruit to throw at those unfortunate individuals who found themselves incarcerated in the village stocks. The stocks could hold up to three people at anyone time and can still be seen to this day outside the Bull public house, a short walk away.

!!!CONGRATULATIONS TO DARLYNNE57 ON FIRST TO FIND!!!
