The Old Number 4 Trail is a motor vehicle trail that does NOT get used much any more,, except by horses. Now, I like horses, but I like this trail more.
The Geocaching map shows this as The Frost Pocket Trail,, I don't know why, but when you get there , you will understand.
I mountain bike this trail a lot. Well, not so much this summer, but that is another story.
I also like to travel this trail with the Jeep. And so will you.
I would NOT recommend this trail to anyone without ALL wheel drive. And some considerable ground clearance.Forester-yes,, Outback- NO.
And, there will be scratches. So, if you are the type of person that would rather polish your CRV than get it dirty, than you probably should walk or mountain bike this trail.
