Power Cooling Traditional Cache

This Cache is near the Eraring Power Station cooling run off channel and Myuna Bay Sports and Recreation area. A popular place for school camps, scout and guide camps etc. At the start of the trail you can often find people camping for the night or a few days in camper vans. The geodogs and myself placed this cache during one of our walks. FTF to jonignite ; )

This cache is a medium sized decor container with labels, geocaching info, log book, pencils and swaps. It is a great walk to get to it along the lake shore, through some bushland and accross a bridge There are various trails branching out but all lead to the same area. Around the cache hide you will find toilets, concrete tables and chairs and a fish scaling table. I believe fishing is popular here as the warmer water atracts the fish. Swimming in the bay area is nice as the water is always warmer than the rest of the lake due to the power station cooling run off into this bay. The area is quite sandy and shallow.
