This series of three traditional caches follows part of the disused railway track that was victim of the Beeching axe of 1966. The line originally linked what is now the Severn Valley Railway, with Tenbury, and the bridge supports from the Severn crossing are still visible a mile or so north of Bewdley. (Not visible from this cache route though.)
The walk is flat - as you'd expect from an old railway route - and paved in some parts. It roughly follows the path of Dowles Brook, but is somewhat elevated altitude-wise, so no chance of nipping in for a quick paddle. The track is buggy-friendly, doggy-friendly, and cyclist-friendly. Wheelchairs, too, could gain access to within a short distance of the caches if approaching from the noted waypoint, but I suggest that the caches are not retrievable by wheelchair-bound people.
Another possibility for vehicle parking is the area around the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre (accessed from the A456 at Callow Hill), but there are two caveats here: 1. The route is not wheelchair-friendly for much of the way - until you reach the disused track, and 2. It's a pay-parking zone. The cost of parking was, when I last noted it, £3 for all or part of a day.
If you tackle all three caches from the waypoint car park you will have a 5 Km return trek. If you take it from the visitor-centre area it's approximately 6 to 7 Km.
At this GZ you are looking for a camo bag containing a cylindrical hide. Please BYOP.
