The cache numbers go in order from 0-10.5 – generally west to east. The integer (whole number, 1,2,3…) caches are multicaches. At each one of these the listed coordinates bring you to a commemorative sign. The text on the signs that give you the numbers to match the variables for the final cache coordinates. At each descriptive sign be sure to copy down some variables that will lead you to bonus (mystery) caches (#4.5 and #10.5) as well. Different letters were used so you won’t get mixed up between the multicache variables and bonus cache variables. The bonus cache variables are always to do with the mileage to the next sign. For bonus cache #4.5 your gather the clues from signs 1-4, for bonus cache #10.5 the clues come from signs 5-10.
It is best to find the series in increasing number order as the finals for each multicaches is further along Morgan’s trail (which goes generally west to east). There are some traditional caches along the way as well they will be decimals between the multis (ie 1.5 is found on the way from 1 to 2).

From July 13-26, 1863, Confederate Brigadier General John Hunt Morgan led a daring group of more than 2,000 men across Southern Ohio. His mission: to distract and divert as many Union troops as possible from the action in Middle Tennessee and East Tennessee. Union troops under the command of Major General Ambrose Burnside gave chase.
Morgan's Raid quote: 11:30 P. M. - A courier arrived last evening at General Burnside's headquarters, having left Cheviot at half past eight in the afternoon, with information for the general. Cheviot is only seven miles from the city. He states that about five hundred of Morgan's men had crossed the river at Miamitown, and attacked our pickets, killing or capturing one of them. Morgan's main force, said to be three thousand strong, was then crossing the river. A portion of the rebel force had been up to New Haven, and another had gone to New Baltimore, and partially destroyed both of those places. The light of the burning towns was seen by our men. When the courier left, Morgan was moving up, it was reported, to attack our advance. History of Hamilton County Ohio
