For a long time I've wondered why this bright green spot on the map was barren of caches. It turns out that Zonolite Park is one of DeKalb County's newest treasures -- a former Superfund site that's now turned into a primitive park.
The federally mandated cleanup was completed more than a year ago and now volunteers have been creating trails along the south fork of Peachtree Creek.
This cache will take you along the trails. You'll pass a treasure in itself -- a giant three-headed tree. Continue down the path until you find fallen logs on both sides of the trail near the coords. The cache is hidden next to the fallen logs on the north (not creek) side.
Good luck!
Congrats to Baxter929 for the hat trick of FTFs in Zonolite Park!
