Geocache Description:

A small Lock-N-Lock style container

As many of you might know I love the Des Plaines River Trail and have populated said trail from Madison Ave to Irving Park Ave.

When the call went out to help place a few caches for the Chicagoland Geocacher 2013 Picnic I could not resist placing a few north of my usual stomping grounds.

I have traveled these trails since I was a teen and we would often take a break at the, several, shelters along the way.

Time has taken it's toll on this one. I remember seeing it when visiting Shelob of Schiller Woods by k'wren (visit link) and always wanted to place a cache here. Time passed and that cache got archived and finally I was able to stop by and make the placement.

A little more difficult than most and it should be fun! Please rehide the cache so it cannot be seen.

Park at any of the area preserve parking lots and make your way over. It really is a nice walk. :)
