The Mogollon Rim is a 200 mile long escarpment that forms the southern border of the Colorado Plateau. In some areas, particularly between Pine and Forest Lakes, AZ, the "rim" is steep, dropping over 1000 feet. Other areas have long canyons and ridges settling down into the lower regions.
Mogollon Rim Letterbox is hidden in a less steep section immediately sourth of FR 300 in the Sitgreaves National Forest. While it is basically a park and grab, it requires a 12.5 mile one way drive on a good dirt road that should be passable with any car if dry. The letterbox is hidden in the Sitgreaves Forest just a few feet north of the fence which marks the boundary of the Whiteriver Indian Reservation. It is located in an area that was once overrun by the Rodeo Chediski Fire of 2002. It contains trade items for kids.

This is a letterbox hybrid. In addition to the normal logbook and trade items, it also contains a letterbox stamp, inkpad, and stamp book. Please do not remove the stamp, ink pad, or stamp book. THEY ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!
