Welcome to the Miners Rest Wetlands.
A great place to walk the dog, kids or even yourself. There is a great walking track about 1.8km long that goes around the whole wetland. Keep an eye out for the flora in the area such as the Stiff Groundsel (Identifiable by its yellow flower) which is an endangered species. There is also lots of birdlife that live in the area.
The GZ is at a rotunda at the northern edge of the wetlands park.
This place is popular with dog walkers so take sensible precautions with little children.
