This is one of a small number of caches placed within the grounds of the National Botanic Garden of Wales with the kind permission of the garden’s management team.
[Please note that there is a fee payable in order to enter the garden. The garden is open every day of the year except Christmas day. At the time of writing, opening times are 10am -6pm Apr-Sep and 10am - 4:30pm Oct-Mar. Before visiting it would be worthwhile checking the garden’s website to ensure that these times are still valid]
A lovely oak-framed performance stage, topped with a pineapple, has been built in the walled area between the double-walled garden and the apothecaries’ hall. This area has also been planted with fruit trees to establish an orchard. There is a magnificent view of the Great Glasshouse and the gardens from this point.
