We wanted to put some in some of our favorite places and places that hold great memories within the area we live and have grown up. I grew up very close to here and spent many long days playing and "growing up" in this beautiful park. Cache placed with kind permission from park authorities. You are looking for a tiny black container.
The Park is only open from around 7.30am till dust. Depending on how the last person leaves the cache is dependant on whether you need to enter the park or not as it can be reached through the railings. Coalville Park. Coalville Park is just a few minutes walk away from the Town Centre and located on the London Road. There is plenty for you to enjoy, to suit all age groups including tennis courts, a children’s play area and skateboard park. Take a seat, relax and enjoy the pleasant surroundings of open space, mature trees and attractive floral displays.It is worth noting that North West Leicestershire District Council signed up for the National tennis for free campaign . There is no need for you to book just turn up and play. More recently in the Spring of 2012 six Oak trees were planted around the central obelisk to celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee, one tree to represent each decade of the Queen’s reign. To complement this in August six mosaic panels designed by Nottingham Mosaic Artist Julie Vernon were set into the grass area. People of all ages took part in a mosaic workshop led by Julie at the Coalville Twenty 12 event here in Coalville Park to create these colourful mosaics. New for 2013......come down to the park and try out the 'outdoor gym'. The latest in outdoor fitness equipment has been installed in the park located near to the children's play area. The equipment includes cycling, sit ups, step ups and pull ups to name just a few of the activities the equipment can offer you for a 'workout' with a difference in a green gym. ****congratulation FTF Honours go to TwoMonkeys2004 *****
