The lovely vicinity
I like this trail! The fact that geocachers appear not to ever come up here annoys me a bit, but obviously it is not going to stop me from placing another hide up here! Maybe the presence of another (non-micro) cache here will get at least a few folks to come out and give it a try. And if not? Well, I don't mind coming up periodically to check on them; it's a nice place!
The hide is a bit of a compromise, and a bit of an experiment. I wanted to use one of the 6-foot tall jagged snags, but I couldn't find a reliable way to attach an 8-ounce lock and lock. So I was wandering around, looking for a suitable spot, when I accidentally dislodged something. Well look at that! That will work! Might even be a bit difficult. Time will tell whether it will work in the winter....
There are two small FTF prizes (and nothing else) in the cache. Please leave the second one for the first winter finder, as defined by the presence of at least six inches of snow on the ground at GZ!
