Geocache Description:

This is one of several caches I will be placing on the Redbank Valley Trails in the Lawsonham area this Fall. All are placed with permission from the Redbank Valley Trails Assn (RVTA). Trail hours are dawn to dusk. The trail surface here won't be improved until 2014. See below for parking coords. This cache shouldn't be hard to find. There is food and fuel about 3 miles from here in Widnoon.

The Redbank Valley Trail has been honored by Pennsylvania as "2014 Trail of the Year".

Congratulations to Muffin the Holy with esalizzoni2 and the mini-muffins for FTF.

May Apple, aka Mayapple, should be a familiar plant to anyone who has spent time in the woods. It has umbrella- shaped leaves and when it appears you know Spring has finally arrived. It is about 12-18" high and gets a white fragrant flower on it. The flower turns into an "apple" and is actually edible once it has turned solid yellow.
