This cache requires a bit research or history knowledge and a little searching (but what geocache does not need that)?
Park in the church parking lot that is located between the church and the cemetary. From here on you will need to find two headstones (they are right beside each other - far from the road).
The first one carries the same last name as a famous English soldier, explorer, and author. He was knighted for his services to Sigismund Bathory, Prince of Transylvania and his friend Mózes Székely. He was considered to have played an important part in the establishment of the first permanent English settlement in North America. He was a leader of the Virginia Colony (based at Jamestown) between September 1608 and August 1609, and led an exploration along the rivers of Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay. He was the first English explorer to map the Chesapeake Bay area and New England. He died in 1631.
The second headstone carries the same first and last name as a famous baseball player (born in 1901) who played in the Negro Leagues from 1920 to 1948. He was primarily a catcher for the Kansas City Monarchs, handling their pitching staff from 1921 through 1934 as the team won five pennants between 1923 and 1931. While playing part-time, he managed the Monarchs to two pennants in 1942 and 1946. He caught two no-hitters with the Monarchs, in 1923 and 1929. He died in 1972.
Stand in front of both stones, look how they are aligned - they point directly to the cache location.
