Holiday Cache - Ft Houston Traditional Cache

Cache was taken. It has been replaced. You are looking for a box 12 inches long 8 inches wide and about 3 inches deep.   Enter the cemetery and find what appears to be a four wheeler path.  Follow this path to the cache and enjoy any wild life you come upon.  Lots of birds and bunnies.  It is our goal to fill it with treasures representing the current holiday.  It is not necessary to trade items.  These are our gifts to whoever finds it.

Geocache app for iPhone places the location at the coordinates listed.  However the Garmin had a slightly different set of coordinates.  Garmin:  N 31 43.570  W 95 39.115.  I would not recommend those in wheelchairs to undertake this cache alone.  Depending on where you park, returning to the vehicle could be uphill.  Cache is a lock and lock box covered in an interesting duck tape. Check the hint and you might figure it out!  It is our goal to fill it with treasures of each current holiday.  Please visit the boulder placed in the cemetery honoring two soldiers of the Texas Republic and while here read the historical marker explaining the area.  It is a very interesting bit of information.  Not many people are aware of the historical significance of this area.  Im sure you will find the information fascinating as well as the various wildlife that run around this area.  While placing the cache we saw a cute and fuzzy bunny scurrying through the woods and the sound of birds fill the air.
