To celebrate this year's Autumnal Equinox, I decided to put out a cache on one of my favorite trails - the East Glacier Trail. This trail is a 3.5 mile loop, which starts and ends close to the Mendenhall Glacier's visitors center. It has a pretty quick walk to the cache site, with several good lookout points, bridges and other features along the way. Take your camera and enjoy the walk!
There is nothing special or tricky about this cache. It is a small camouflaged buffalo, and the cache site is just a few feet off the trail. No daring hill climbs, decents or other feats of bravery are required for this cache -- it's all about the journey to the cache site!
