"Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after" ~ Henry David Thoreau
When I was a kid my family would come to Mineola every summer to spend a couple of weeks visiting family. I would spend most days with my Grandfather at the neighborhood grocery store that he owned. I’d badger him to take me fishing and eventually he would give in, close the store, and hang a sign on the front door that read “Gone Fishin’”. This cache is located very near the spot where we would drop our hooks in the water. This is a small container so BYOP.
The cache includes an unactivated Travel Bug as a prize for the First To Find.
NOTE: Parking is not allowed on the bridge, but there is ample parking off the road not far from the cache.
*** CONGRATULATIONS TO PETERRVER FOR BEING FIRST TO FIND! ***
