Die Vigiliuskirche aus vorromanischem Ursprung zählt zu den ältesten und wichtigsten Sakralbauten des Vinschgaus. Besonders fällt die orientalisch anmutende Architektur auf. Dem rechteckigen Langhaus sind drei in Kleeblattform angeordnete Apsiden angebaut. Die Weiheinschrift lässt das Jahr 1080 erkennen. Leider ist die Kirche nicht betretbar, aber trotzdem einen Blick von außen wert.

The Vigilius Church has romanic origin and is one of the oldest religious buildings in Vinschgau valley. The type of architecture with an oriential touch is especially noticeable. Three clover shaped apses are build alongside the rectangle basis. The consecration inscription contains the year 1080. Unfortunately the church can't be entered but is nevertheless worth a view from outside.
