Geocache Description:

A traditional cache near the lovely Eastern Ontario Village of Arden.

While on our annual Fall geocaching trip, we stopped at this spot for a little explore. We decided it deserved a geocache. It should be a nice easy find.

As we were taking coordinates, a gentleman arrived who turned out to be a volunteer that worked on this area. We had wondered what drove a village like Arden, and we ended up discussing the challenges such spots have to overcome as society changes. He thought that having a geocache here would be a great idea, and we told him about all the others in the area and he seemed excited about using caching to help bring people here.

Please be aware of the gardens, and treat them with respect. There is no need to poke around in anything as the cache is hidden in plain sight. The plants just east of the cache attract more bumble bees than I have ever seen in one place!
