With the building of the new hospital, HWY 603 was born. In the beginning, most of those driving the US 60 Bypass asked “What were they thinking about putting a stop light on the bypass?” Next thing you know, they will be putting a roundabout in Owensboro (56 & 81). In the end, we are still wondering why there is a stop light on the bypass.
