This cache is located near the junction of the Aurora Branch of the Illinois Prairie Path and the DuPage River Trail. The IPP is a fantastic trail which can get you all over the western suburbs. The DuPage River trail, while less traveled is a nice scenic trail that will take you all the way to McDowell Woods.
The cache itself is a large clear lock-n-lock container that I started out with the usual trinkets along with an inactivated geocoin for the First to Find. The cache is large enough for travel bugs, so feel free to let your bugs take a rest on their travels. When looking for the cache, bear in mind that looking for an easier way into the woods will keep bushwhacking to a minimum. Access to the cache is via the trails, but there is trail parking on the west side of Winfield Rd. which will give you a short walk to the cache site.
