Small Roman ruin located near first cache worth a look before heading home
This is the first in a 17 cache route around Caister and West Caister. The walk is mostly on quiet lanes but there is one busy road to cross between cache #2 and #4. The route is approximately 4-4 1/2 miles. There is a few pubs in the village and a restaurant with play area just down the road if required.
To get to second cache you will need to cross the road from here. A log retrieval tool will be needed for some and all will require your own pen/pencil. CONGRATULATIONS FTF RABBIT47
THERE IS A NEW ROUTE THAT CAN BE DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH THIS ROUTE. THIS WOULD MEAN A WALK OF AROUND 8-9 MILES TAKING IN 39 CACHES. YOU WILL NEED TO TURN LEFT AFTER ROMAN AROUND CAISTER #9 (ROCK ON) YOU WILL THEN BE ON MAUTBY AND WEST CAISTER WANDER. THE ROUTE WILL BRING YOU BACK ON ROMAN AROUND CAISTER BEFORE #10 (GEEKY NOSTALGIA.)
