Gypsy Wood Walk is a series places along a number of public foot paths and bridleways in an area I enjoy taking by bike out for a ride and is a popular area with dog walkers. The walking is mostly flat and usually even under foot. Between GWW3 and GWW6 there is a ditch to the left of the wide path, so please keep an eye on young cachers. This is as well as the usual caching risks of brambles and nettles, so please be careful.
To find the bonus cache, you will need to find numbers (0-7) and letter (A-H) around the series and substitute the letter for the numbers in the formula on the bonus cache page to obtain the final co-ordinates. GWW4 contains the clue for the bonus but no number or letter, so if you miss just one of the other caches for whatever reason, you should still be able to work out the bonus co-ordinates.
There are plenty of places to drop off trackables and swaps around the series but be aware the bonus is not one of those places, so don’t save them all for the final cache or you may be disappointed. At time of placing, there are plenty of swaps in the larger caches and there is a pencil in every cache.
Parking for the series can be found at the original bonus co-ordinates, where there is room for about 5 cars to park well off of Elvington Lane, but access to this series is also available from Long Lane (although you may end up doubling back on yourself quite a bit).
