While looking for something in our basement, I came across an old stack of puzzle magazines. I had grown up with an older brother who subscribed to this magazine, and my wife subscribed for many years herself. Flipping through the pages, I came across a puzzle that I thought I could adapt to a geocaching puzzle.
The solution to this puzzle is simple. Each stamp, labeled A through J was a commemorative stamp, issued on a particular year. You need the last digit of that year for this puzzle. In other words, if the stamp was issued in 1957, then the value would be 7.
