Geocache Description:

120ml container.
There is space for a few cars to park at the bridge on Pikefish Lane.
There is a set of steps down to the river on the SE corner.
There is a spare cache a third of the way from the bridge to this cache. Please could you use this to replace any caches that are reported missing, but otherwise leave it in place. Thanks.

Songofthepaddle: " .... a truly beautiful stretch of river. .....".

Before you decide to attempt this series please note that the terrain is rather more difficult than on the Medway Canoe Trail. 550m from here there is a sluice gate that you will need to pass. 400m beyond that is a tree which has fallen across the river which you will probably need to get out of your boat to pass. This should be passable with a kayak or inflatable. It would be more challenging, if possible, with a canoe, probably not passable with anything bigger.
For this reason I have rated the DT higher than for the Medway Canoe Trail.

The River Teise (pronounced /ˈtiːz/ teez or /ˈtaɪs/ tys) is a tributary of the River Medway in Kent, England.
It begins in Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells and flows eastwards past Bayham Abbey and then through Lamberhurst. 2 miles downstream of Lamberhurst the small River Bewl, on which is the reservoir Bewl Water, joins the Teise.
Unusually, the Teise bifurcates 2 km south west of the village of Marden, passing either side of a low ridge.
The Lesser Teise flows for about 6.4 km before joining the River Beult at Hunton.
The Greater Teise, now carrying only minor quantities, flows for about 8 km to the River Medway at Twyford Bridge, upstream of Yalding, formerly the site of a double ford over both the Medway and Teise rivers.
