Geocache Description:

The forest of Avaugour Bois-Meur consists of 1 100 hectares of managed woodland and there are various routes that have been created specifically for walking, cycling and riding. The 8 marked tracks range from 1.3km (suitable for wheelchairs) up to the longest of 27km for the more adventurous. This is a fantastic area to discover for people of all abilities.

The nearest parking is at La Croix d'Avaugour on the D5 between St Pever and Ploumagoar. Take the trail marked Circuit des charbonniers. The cache is off the path hidden at ground level.

La Forêt départementale Avaugour Bois-Meur de 1 100 hectares est devenue un lieu privilégié de promenade et de découvertes pour tous, conciliant l'accueil du public, le respect des milieux naturels et la gestion sylvicole.

8 circuits de randonnée au coeur de la forêt, adaptés au niveau de practique de chacun.

Parking: La Croix d'Avaugour (D5 entre Ploumagoar et St Pever). Prenez Circuit des charbonniers. La cache est au niveau du sol.
