Geocache Description:

Scientist discovered lost Aztec ruins in Mesoamerica.  The ground plot shows the typical pyramid in the centre (black) of the mystical site which is surrounded by smaller temples and ceremonial places (red). Food stalls (margenta) were identified and the archaeologists found two artificial ponds and a water systems (blue) which supplied the pilgrims. The site itself is located in an impenetrable forest (green).

While the experienced scientists speculate about the connections of the newly discover site to the much more powerful cities Tenochtitlán, Texcoco, and Tlacopán, a young PhD student - and enthusiastic geocacher - conjectures a connection to Australia.

At stage 1 you’ll find the spot where the Aztecs settled first in Australia (regarding to that young researcher). He left firetacks to lead you to the final coords where his secret notebook is hidden. Please log in the notebook and let us know online whether you believe in his finding or not.

You are looking for a micro. Bring your own pen.

Note

There is nothing to find at the published coordinates.

Once you have got the clue and solved the puzzle, you will need no geochecker to be sure about the coordinates.
