Geocache Description:

The Mitt View

Could this be a mitt or could this be a petrified turtle head? Hid this a year ago. Shortly after I cleaned out my GPS'r of old coordinates along with the coordinates of this hide. Came back to Havasu recently to gauge the location of the cache. I had to since I hid this at night and was a bit turned around on the trail to GZ. Typically, I get out caching at night in the Havasu area in the middle of July. It is deathly hot to do it during the day. I can bear the 100 degree evening weather in July.

Short scramble to the top. Parking nearby, safe for 2-wheel drive low clearance vehicles. Beware, I'm sure there are desert critters out here. Poke around before sticking your hands in places you can't see.
