How To Talk Like A Pirate: Nine Pirate Lords Traditional Geocache

September 19th is International Talk Like A Pirate Day!! ARRRRRR!!

So we set out to teach all the midwest landlubbers how to speak correctly! We created a power trail of caches along Highway 81 that make up our How To Talk Like A Pirate series.  

N is for Nine Pirate Lords The Pirate Lords were made popular in the Pirates of the Carribbean movies. The Pirate Lords were nine powerful pirate captains who each claimed territories around the world. They were known for creating the Pirate Code and binding the Sea Goddess, Calypso in human form.

The Nine Pirate Lords:

• Ammand - Pirate Lord of the Black Sea
• Hector Barbossa - Pirate Lord of the Caspian Sea
• Chevalle - Pirate Lord of the Mediterranean Sea
• Ching - Pirate Lord of the Pacific Ocean
• Jocard - Pirate Lord of the Atlantic Ocean
• Jack Sparrow - Pirate Lord of the Caribbean Sea
• Sumbhajee Angria - Pirate Lord of the Indian Ocean
• Elizabeth Swann - Pirate Lord of the South China Sea(later voted as Pirate King)
• Eduardo Villanueva - Pirate Lord of the Adriatic Sea

All the caches are the same camo'ed container- a small pill bottle (except the final)

Most of the caches are winter friendly, and near an approach or road. Bring your own writing utensil.
