Parking available in a small car park at the end of the 'school lane' in Llanilar ...turn down past the side of the church and hall. You will go 'ooh err' when you get onto this suspension bridge and it starts to bounce and sway!! Yes...this bridge REALLY does move and we've seen it get some serious 'workouts'!!! Here you can get a good view up and downstream of the Ystwyth River near the little village of Llanilar, which has a pub and small village shop next to it. During the summer months, stand on the bridge and watch many Swallows, Swifts and Martins as they swoop and dive over the river catching flies. On the river banks, you'll see many different kinds of wildflowers through the changing seasons. This cache is located on the bridge next to Route 81 of the National Cycle Network (the NCN), to find out about the NCN and Sustrans, who developed it, check out their website.
