BELLWOOD - Chesterfield County “The Series” BELLWOOD is one of Chesterfield Counties oldest communities with a population of approximately 3,800 people according to the 2010 Community Indicators Report. There are 1,247 single family homes, 10 multi-family units, 213 mobile homes (located in mobile home parks) and 28 duplexes in the BELLWOOD community. BELLWOOD’s boundaries include Kingsland Creek and the James River to the north, Seaboard Coastline Railroad to the west, the James River to the east and Route 288 and Proctors Creek to the south. Route 95 and Jefferson Davis Hwy run right down the center of the BELLWOOD community splitting it in half, the western half of the community seems to be mainly residential and the eastern half commercial. The Fort Stevens Park, a Civil War Park and Drewry’s Bluff are located in the BELLWOOD community. BELLWOOD is home to numerous large and small companies, factories, warehouses, businesses and the Bellwood Flea Market. BELLWOOD has a higher than average emergency call rate for police, fire and EMS services and is the highest among all communities. The traffic crash rate is higher than the county rate. **Cache is a bison tube hidden in a high muggle area so use your best geostealth. Please place back where it was hidden.
