Geocache Description:

We wanted to put some in some of our favorite places and places that hold great memories within the area we live and have grown up. We spend many fun afternoons down here fishing for sticklebacks and bullheads. Not suitable for wheelchairs. Wellies definitely required after rain, it gets very muddy down there. You're looking for a black draw string bag.

I have temporary replaced this with a shiny green bison container. it's head high and more towards the top of the bank but still in the tree. No room for anything even a pen. If you follow the path along there's so more accessible places to fish and have fun along the stream of The Sence. The Sence rises on Bardon Hill crosses the A511 and gathers a group of three headwaters around Bardon and Stanton under Bardon. It flows westwards with a tributary stream from Coalville, past Hugglescote where we are now and onto Donington le Heath. It then turns south-west, receiving Blower’s Brook and another tributary from Ravenstone, continuing between Heather and Ibstock where the Sence Valley Nature Reserve is, then down and between Newton Burgoland and Odstone, through Shackerstone, between Bilstone and Congerstone, and between Sheepy Magna and Sheepy Parva. It joins the Anker on the boundary with Warwickshire between SheepyRatcliffe Culey and Atherstone at the Mythe, an ancient chaplry of Sheepy. From Bardon village over a distance of about 20 km, it falls by about 100 m, a gradient of 1:200.
