JAXA Tsukuba Space Center Open House 2013 will be held on October 19, 2013.
An astronaut Rick Mastracchio is going to bring "International Space Station Travel Bug II"to the geocache in ISS again! He will be launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome, KZ on November 6, PST (November 7, JST).
As a pre-event for Groundspeak's "Geocaching in Space" event in November, let's visit JAXA Tsukuba Space Center for learning GPS technology, International Space Station and how astronauts train. You can observe the control room of the ISS Japanese module KIBO, astronauts training facilities, etc. and can experience GPS treasure hunting organized by GPS support satellite Michibiki team.
After learing about space technologies, let's seek geocaches around JAXA Tsukuba Space Center and exchange trackables.

２０１３年１０月１９日、JAXA筑波宇宙センターの特別公開が行われます。
次回ＩＳＳに向かうミッションでは、アメリカのRick Mastracchio宇宙飛行士がInternational Space Station Travel Bug II（国際宇宙ステーション・トラベルバグ２）を携えて国際宇宙ステーション（ISS ）に設置されたジオキャッシュに運びます！Rick宇宙飛行士は米国太平洋時間の１１月６日（日本時間１１月７日）にカザフスタンのバイコヌール宇宙基地から打ち上げられます。
１１月に行われるGroundspeak社の「ジオキャッシング・イン・スペース」のプレイベントとしてＪＡＸＡ筑波宇宙センターを訪れ、ＧＰＳ技術や国際宇宙ステーション、宇宙飛行士の訓練について学びましょう。ＩＳＳの日本モジュール「きぼう」の中央管制室や宇宙飛行士訓練施設等の見学、GPS支援衛星「みちびき」のチームによるＧＰＳ宝探など体験もりだくさん！
宇宙技術について学んだ後に、ＪＡＸＡ宇宙センター周辺のキャッシュ探索・トラッカブルの交換を行う予定です。
