This cache is located in the Wapsie Access, a significant greenspace owned and managed by the Bremer County Conservation Board.
This cache is not far from where one of the last cabins in this stretch of the Wapsie once stood. Remains of the cabin are still visible in the form of what some would consider trash. Pay attention to where you are since the cache is off the main trail some distance, but no too far off the former trail near the cabin. It is easy to get lost if you get off trail. The cache was hidden in a spot that should be safe if the river floods. Please be sure to replace the hiding material after you find it. Use caution in the Wapsie Access during hunting seasons. The cache is small and holds only logging paper. Please bring something to write with. Good Luck!
