It reminds me of continental European town around here with its modern apartment buildings..
This cache is the Easterly end of the Medway Canoe Trail, which now stretches from just outside Tonbridge to Maidstone. Downstream of here there of lots of other land-based caches that would make it difficult to locate more caches in this series.
There is an easy exit point about 400m further downstream from here, northern bank.
Jetties on the southern bank appear to be private.
When setting the caches I returned to East Farleigh by river so I'm afraid I can't offer guidance on the best place to disembark in Maidstone.
I hope that everyone who does any part of this series has as much fun as I had setting it.
