My first hide, to celebrate 4th birthday of my son.
The Groth Nature Preserve is a great public place for a nature walk, despite the lack of designated parking. I park on 97th Ave and walk north to the barb wire fence and hop over it. The field is county owned as well and there is a path across the field to the Groth Nature Preserve- a big sign welcomes you. There are well worn paths throughout this park. Bring a lunch and have a picnic in a small meadow.
You are looking for a green and black painted nalgene bottle. Initially stashed with things a 4 year old likes. GPS signal can be jumpy in there.
