Take some time and get unplugged! This cache involves a hike, approx 2.6 miles, round trip, that has 4 way points to find the cache. There is some trail and no trail, very easy to a little scrambling, flat to steep, and the scenery..... well it will cause you to forget the madness if you let it.
It took me 4 hrs to hike the route, set up the cache and way points. I was NOT in a hurry. I kept it casual and enjoyed the day. It can be done in less time.
This hike begins at the CCC campground/ Maah Daah Hey Trailhead just South of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park, North Unit. Park at the trailhead, go through the gate, and at the fork, turn left onto the Maah Daah Hey trail. The coords to the first way point have been provided. Each way point provides coords to the next and ultimately to the cache. The coords given in the waypoints are Longitude/Lattitude in degrees, minutes, seconds as well as in degrees, decimal minutes, whichever you prefer to use.
Cell phones are unreliable. As usual, prepare for the elements. Moisture can change things dramatically. Watch out when crossing slumps, as they usually have cracks and some of them are overgrown.
