Nära cachens placering står Trollsoffan, som byggdes åt trollen för att dessa skulle vara vänligt sinnade till brytningen av svart granit. I Granhultsberget bröts granit under åren 1890-1914. Mycket av graniten exporterades till Tyskland och Ryssland. Ca 75 m söder som soffan finns ett stort vattenfyllt schakt. Totalt finns i berget ca 200 hål, så var försiktiga. Notera att det finns en bra "waypoint" att gå via.

In Granhult mountain granite was mined during the years 1890-1914. Much of the granite was exported to Germany and Russia. Approximately 75 m south of the sofa is a large water-filled shaft. In total, the mountain has about 200 holes, so be careful. Please note that there is a nice waypoint to walk via.
