You can't park there! Mystery Cache

TandJ1120: Not as easily to make updates to the map as it once was since I’m no longer a bureaucrat with plenty of time to sluff off. 😂

Geocache Description:

The posted coordinates above aren't for the geocache; but maybe parking nearby would be wise.

Parking around the Texas Capital building is reserved for members and one of their staff.  Only they can get their vehicles past the barriers.  A data entry card is required and then there are parking guards stationed around the area to make sure everyone is in their right spot and only their spot.

Most of these guards are retired military and generally friendly guys. One of the highlights of my day is to briefly visit with one of the guards, Robert, an Iwo Jima survivor. His place is right outside the north entrance to the capital on the east side.

This picture shows all the spots needed to find the correct coordinates. And FYI, I wouldn't depend on a mobile device to display the picture good enough. Need the website to zoom. Go to the Gallery and use CapParkinV3 for the latest

I think it's obvious what you need to do once you're at the spots. But if you need one email me.

If you see the letters DPS in a spot, don't count it. You need to follow the path.

This isn't part of the puzzle; but guess who was FTF? Congratulations HiDude_98! It was fun watching you in your element.
