The St George’s Channel Community Hall was rebuild in 2005 and is run by the South Mountain Arm of Gold Community Association. The Association was awarded the Lieutenant Governor "Communittee Spirit Award". The "Channel Hall" is the hub of communtity activities from group meetings to exercise classes. There is a Country Breakfast on the third Sunday of each month. The hall also hosts a Canada Day celebration, a Strawberry festival, a Celtic Colours Song Session and In December, a complimentary Turkey Supper for seniors in the Community.
The cache container is a medium large size, wrapped in handy man tape. Easy to drive to along the scenic West Bay Highway beside the Bras D'Or Lake and lots of parking. Stop in on any Wednesday morning 10-12 and join us for the weekly Coffee gettogether!
