Geocache Description:

This event is a “Flash Mob” to commemorate another re-supply launch to the International Space Station. This one is special; Geocaching is rocketing into space once again! Meet at the listed coordinates at precisely 10:08 pm on Wednesday, November 6th. We will all pose for a picture and sign a log – all within 15 minutes. Look for a large blue Jeep Travel Bug at the listed coordinates. The log will be with that travel bug.

Astronaut Rick Mastracchio will deliver a Travel Bug® to the International Space Station. Mastracchio will be using the Travel Bug as an educational tool to help teach students around the world about geography and provide other educational lessons.

The mission is currently scheduled to launch from Kazakhstan at 4:08 GMT on November 7 and we want you all to be there (at least in spirit). That means the launch is planned to liftoff at 10:08 p.m. in Houston time.

Every geocacher who attends a Geocaching Event on November 6, 2013 will be awarded a Geocaching in Space Souvenir .
