Geocache Description:

Fort pośredni VIa nazwany ”Stockhausen” na cześć Augusta von Stockhausena (pruskiego Ministra Wojny).
W 1931 zmieniono patrona na polskiego dowódcę z czasów powstania listopadowego gen. Ludwika Bogusławskiego.
Fortyfikacje powstały w latach 1879-1882. Fort został zmodernizowany i wzmocniony w 1888 roku.
Podczas „Bitwy o Poznań” w 1945 roku zdobyty prawdopodobnie 3 lutego.
Po wojnie został wysadzony i rozebrany.
Dziś dość rzadko uczęszczany przez poznaniaków z racji, jak widać, świetnego kamuflażu i dość dalekiego dla nóg położenia choć całkiem bliskiego od poznańskiego kąpieliska „Rusałka”.

Fort VIa "Stockhausen" named after August von Stockhausen (Prussian minister of war).
In 1931 the patron was changed to a Polish commander from the times of November Uprising - general Ludwik Bogusławski.
The fortifications was built in 1879-1882. It was momdernized and strengthened in 1888.
During the "Battle of Poznań" in 1945 it was conquered on (probably) 3rd of February.
After the World War II it was blasted and demolished.
Nowadays it is rarely visited by the Poznanian because of obviously good camouflage and not really close vicinity to the city center even though it's not really that far from Rusałka - one the of the Poznań lakes.
