This cache is on the Overlook Trail on the northern climb up from the Daddy's Creek. The cache is a standard plastic lock-box located very close to the trail.
“Glade Trails” is a series of caches that are located along the walking and hiking trails in the Fairfield Glade Community. This community has a year-round population of about 7,000, mainly retirees, but is boosted by about 1,000 timeshare visitors during the warmer weather. The residents decided in 2012 to supplement the four miles of paved trails and sidewalks with some hiking trails through the woods and valleys of this beautiful community. A volunteer movement quickly spread and about 100 workers regularly volunteer their time to construct trails. In 2012 we added eight miles and expect to add another six miles in 2013.
